Accu-Tatt
An all-inclusive, sterile, single-use tattoo device that marks target areas on a patient's body for proper alignment during radiation therapy procedures.
Ink that has not been sterilized, is used for multiple patients, or is stored improperly all make it vulnerable to contamination, cross-contamination, and pose an infection risk for the patient. Using standard needles in a tattooing procedure can increase the risk of a needlestick incident.
Accu-Tatt standardizes the administration of tattoos by using sterile ink that doesn’t fade over the treatment course. It is a single-use device that comes with a safety needle so the therapist applying the tattoo never has to recap the needle, thus reducing the risk of a needlestick.
The risk of stick incidents, infection and cross-contamination is greatly reduced when treatment areas are marked with Accu-Tatt.
- Reduces chance of stick incident for therapist
- Single patient use
- Standardizes the administration of tattoos
