Trademark Standards

The following standards and guidelines are intended to assist internal and third-party stakeholders wishing to appropriately use CQ Medical trademarks, logos, and images in promotional, advertising, instructional, or reference materials, or in trade show exhibits, on their web sites, or in conjunction with their products, labels, or packaging.

CQ Medical places high value on the company’s intellectual property assets. By following these guidelines, you help us protect our valuable trademark rights and strengthen our corporate and brand identities. 

The following are some general rules to keep in mind.

• Trademarks are adjectives used to modify nouns, where the noun is a generic name of the product or service. 
• It is preferred that a generic term is used with the trademark. As a best practice for all publications, include an appropriate generic term after the trademark at least the first time it appears. Thereafter, the generic term should appear frequently with the trademark (ex., AccuForm™ Cushion, C-Qual™ Breastboard, FlexiCoil™ Fiducial Marker).
• Always spell and capitalize CQ Medical trademarks exactly as they are shown in our trademark list.
• The notice symbols should appear in product literature and on product labeling, as well as in publications, postings, advertisements, websites, and marketing literature. Include the appropriate notice symbol on at least first or most prominent use in the publication.

The following is a non-exhaustive list of trademarks belonging to CQ Medical.

Use of the CQ Medical logo, or our product logos for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of CQ Medical may constitute trademark infringement and unfair competition in violation of federal and state laws. Use of CQ Medical trademarks may be prohibited, unless expressly authorized.
